Use
In this IMG activity you define that a quantity-based conversion (for example, a transfer or reclassification) is possible. A conversion can also take place when no conversion factors for the relevant salary evaluations were defined in Customizing for Position Budgeting and Control. The quantity-based conversion takes place with a factor 1.
If you do not activate the simple conversion, the system will not allow a quantity-based conversion for budget structure elements for which no conversion factors are defined in Customizing for Position Budgeting and Control.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard delivery, the simple conversion of FTEs is not active.
Activities
In order to activate the simple conversion, enter the value X for the combination HRFPM/UNITY.
Example
In an organization, conversions are always executed with the factor 1. In this case it is most effective to activate the simple conversion of FTEs as the entry of conversion factors for the quantity-based conversion is then no longer necessary.
