In this IMG activity, you define personnel groupings. These groupings are required to control the determination of the financing requirement of a person in the next IMG activity using the feature PM003 - Control of Assignment to Groupings.
Example
When a financing is created for all public sector and salaried employees in your organization, you wish the system to determine the financing requirement using the default values stored in Customizing. Other persons should not be financed; in other words, the system does not calculate financing requirements for them.
For this purpose, you define the following groupings:
