Use
In this step, you define values for the pay scale indicator of pay scale valuation (Infotype 1501) depending on the personnel country grouping, employee group and employee subgroup.
The pay scale indicators determined from this are proposed when the pay scale valuation (Infotype 1501) for positions or budget structure elements on a quantity basis is created. Note that in the case of budget structure elements created under a super ordinate fiscal budget, the pay scale indicator from the super ordinate fiscal budget is passed on to the newly created budget structure element without using the default values defined here.
Requirements
You use pay scale valuation (Infotype 1501) for positions, although HR Funds and Position Management is implemented with or without Funds and Position Management. Alternatively, you use HR Funds and Position Management without Funds Management and used budget structure elements on an amount basis.
Activities
In this step, you define default values for the pay scale indicator (grouping of employee subgroups for pay scale provision) depending on personnel country grouping, employee group and subgroup.
