In this step, you assign reclassification rules to budget structure element types.
You can use reclassification rules to transfer full-time equivalents from the budget of one budget structure element to the budget of another budget structure element with a different pay scale.
Since reclassification rules are linked to positions, you only maintain reclassification rules for budget structure element types with FTE budgets.
To do this, you assign one or more subtypes of the Reclassification Rule infotype (1506) to the various budget structure element types. These represent the types of reclassification rules that are permissible for the budget structure element type in question.
Requirements
You must already have defined the budget structure element types to which you want to assign reclassification rules (you do this in the IMG step Define Budget Structure Element Types).
You must have defined the necessary subtypes of the Reclassification Rule infotype (1506). You do this in the IMG step Define Reclassification Rules.
Activities
To assign reclassification rules to budget structure element types, proceed as follows:
- Choose New entries.
- Assign a subtype to every budget structure element type to which you want to assign a reclassification rule, and select the appropriate attributes for the rule.
- Choose Save.
