In this IMG activity, you define the types of budgeting rules that should be used in Personnel Budget Plan Management. You define one or a number of subtypes for them in the infotype budgeting rule (1509).
Note:
Subtypes of infotype 1509 cannot be used for different object types at the same time. In particular, subtypes that are already used for budget structure elements in the area organizational management for public services cannot be used for positions or organizational units.
Standard settings
SAP delivers the following types of budgeting rules:
Description Subtype
Lock 0001
Lock for Releases 0002
Deletion 0003
Deletion for Releases 0004
Reassignment Lock 0005
Activities
To define budgeting rules:
- Select Position and enter the infotype 1509.
- Select New Entries.
- Enter 1509 in the infotype field and define a key for the subtype (such as 9001).
Note: The namespace 9000 to 9999 is provided for user-defined subtypes.
- Enter a description for the budgeting rule type in the field subtype text.
- Choose Save.
