In this step of the IMG activity, you maintain the attributes of budget structure element types.

A budget structure element type determines the attributes (name and evaluation) of budget structure elements in other words, you specify whether the budget structure element type is defined in monetary amounts, or full-time equivalents.

You can use budget structure element types to define and execute a budget structure.

Standard settings

SAP does not deliver any standard settings.

Activities

To define budget structure element types, proceed as follows:

  1. Enter a unique key for each budget structure element type you require.
  2. Specify how the budget structure element type is classified. Please remember that each budget structure element type can be assigned only one type of classification - either monetary budget or FTEs.
  3. Choose Save.

Example

Budget structure element types can be defined as follows:
