In this step, you determine the source of name of your employee to be printed on the legal reports. You maintain the feature THNAM, where you specify the subtype for the Alternat. Names Asia infotype (0182). Based on the subtype, the corresponding alternate name of the employee is printed on the legal reports. If you do not specify any subtype in this feature, then the employee's name as entered in the Personal Data infotype (0002) is printed on these reports.
Example
For employees who earn their monthly salary, you may want to specify the name in local characters instead of the first name and last name. In that case, you must specify the Alternat. Names Asia infotype (0182) and the corresponding subtype, that is, subtype 3. On the other hand, if you want the alias name to be printed on the legal reports for hourly wage earners, then you must specify the corresponding address type, that is, subtype 1 for these employees.
