In this step, you determine the source of personnel address to be printed on the legal reports. You maintain the feature THADD, where you specify the subtype for the Addresses infotype (0006). Based on the subtype you specify, the corresponding address details of the employee are printed on the legal reports. If you do not specify any subtype in this feature, then the address details present in the subtype 1 of the Addresses infotype (0006), that is the permanent address details are printed on these reports.
Example
Instead of the permanent address, if you want the home address details to be printed on the legal reports for employees who earn their monthly salary, then you must specify the corresponding address type, that is, subtype 3 for these employees. On the other hand, if you want the mailing address details to be printed on the legal reports for hourly wage earners, then you must specify the corresponding address type, that is, subtype 5 for these employees.
