In this step, you configure all the gross remuneration wage types that are subject to SSS contributions. To do this, you cumulate the relevant wage types into the cumulation class for total SSS earnings (30).
Example
An employee's gross remuneration for the period is made up of the following wage types:
Wage Type Total Gross Total SSS Earnings
Monthly salary X X
Cost of living allowance X X
Transportation allowance X
Loyalty bonus X X
Mid-year bonus X
Certain types of allowance or bonus may or may not be subject to SSS contributions.
Requirements
You must have set up your gross remuneration wage types in the IMG step Create Wage Type Catalog.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model SAP wage types for gross remuneration that may or may not be subject to SSS contributions. You can copy and modify these wage types to meet your requirements.
Activities
- Select the wage type(s) subject to SSS contributions.
- Flag the cumulation class Total SSS Earnings (30).
