In this step, you configure 13th month payment wage types to cumulate into the total 13th month amount paid.

This ensures that the wage types are cumulated on a year-to-date basis to enable adjustments when mid-year bonuses or partial 13th month payments have been made during the year.

Standard settings

In the standard system, the model SAP wage types for 13th month payments have been configured to cumulate into the total 13th month amount paid.

Any user-defined 13th month payment wage types that you have created must also cumulate into this amount.

Recommendation

Activities

Check the model SAP wage types. To cumulate user-defined 13th month payment wage types into the total 13th month amount, you:

  1. Select the relevant wage type, and choose Goto -> Details.
  2. To cumulate the wage type into the total 13th month amount, flag cumulation class 09.

    The wage type will cumulate into the technical wage type Total 13th month pay (/109).
