In this step, you configure 13th and nth month payment wage types to cumulate into the total gross amount and the 13th month and bonus pay non-taxable amount.
This ensures that the payroll program processes and reports 13th and nth month payments correctly and splits the payments into taxable and non-taxable components.

Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, all model SAP wage types for 13th and nth month payments have been configured to cumulate into the total gross amount and the 13th month and bonus pay non-taxable amount.
Any user-defined 13th or nth month wage types that you have created must also cumulate into these amounts.
Recommendation
Activities
Check the model SAP wage types. To cumulate user-defined 13th or nth month payment wage types into the total gross and 13th month and bonus pay amounts, you:
- Select the relevant wage type, and choose Goto -> Details.
- To cumulate the wage type into the total gross amount, flag cumulation class 01.
The wage type will cumulate into the technical wage type Total gross amount (/101) during payroll.
- To cumulate the wage type into the 13th month and bonus pay non-taxable amount, flag cumulation class 02.
The wage type will cumulate into the technical wage type 13th month + bonus pay non-taxable (/102) during payroll.
