Use
In this Customizing activity, you check whether addresses have been defined for all of the employer's places of employment. As an alternative to this Customizing activity, which uses Address Management (V_T536C), you can also use the Customizing activity Check Old Employer Address, which saves the address in the view V_T536A.
In the ELENA procedure, you must send the Different Place of Employment (DBAB) data module for employees who are not working at a reported employer location if the employee is not working at the place specified as the employer's address in the ELENA notification.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, a check is performed to determine whether the city in the address for the personnel area or personnel subarea corresponds to the city in the employer's address, which is determined in the Customizing activity Maintain Employer's Communication Data or Maintain Sender Communication Data. You must maintain the address (at the very least, the city and postal code) of the employee's personnel area or personnel subarea here.
If you do not maintain an address for the personal area or personnel subarea in the system, but the personnel areas in your company are finely classified, you can notify the place defined in the view T500P for the employee's personnel area as the place of employment. The program automatically uses the information contained in the table T500P if you have not defined an address for the relevant personnel area or personnel subarea.
Activities
For the personnel area or personnel subarea, maintain the "place of employment" address. Enter an 8-character address key, which comprises the personnel area (4 characters) followed by the personnel subarea (4 characters).
Example
You want to maintain the place of employment 33098 Paderborn for the personnel area DE01 and personnel subarea 0001. Enter the value DE010001 in the Address Key field and any value in the Text field. Choose the menu option Goto -> Address and enter the address for the personnel area or personnel subarea (in particular, the postal code 33098, the city Paderborn, and the country DE).
