Use

Use this activity to define the personnel subarea containing the employer#s addresses.
You can use theELAG subapplication to do so. The employer#s address and the employer#s ELENA contact person is reported in the Employer Information (DBAG) data module.

If the sender of the notification file, whom you define in the Customizing activity Settings for ELENA for the ELEN subapplication, is different from the employer, you must also maintain the reporting personnel area for subapplication ELAG. The data is reported in the Employer Information (DBAG) data module. The administrator defined in the reporting personnel area for subapplication ELAG is responsible for the content of the notification.

Requirements

To be able to create notifications and notification files, the personnel area Reporting must always be defined for the subapplication ELEN. The data for the sender and the communication type (e-mail or communication server) are maintained here. You use the Customizing activity Settings for ELENA to define the data for the personnel area Reporting for the subapplication ELEN for the B2A Manager.

Standard settings

The report for creating the notifications checks whether the personnel area/subarea of the employee belongs to a reporting personnel area of subapplication ELAG. If this is the case, the data from this reporting personnel area is reported. If this is not the case, the data from the reporting personnel area of subapplication ELEN is used to fill the Employer Information (DBAG) data module.

Activities

Example

In your role as the computer center RZ based in Paderborn (personnel area RZ01, personnel subarea PB01), you send notifications for company A, based in Berlin (personnel area A0001, personnel subareas BE01 to BE03), and for company B, based in Hamburg (personnel area B0001, personnel subareas HH01 to HH04). You therefore need to define a reporting personnel area for company A in Berlin and one for company B in Hamburg for subapplication ELAG, and maintain the corresponding data for the reporting personnel areas.

You have to enter your own address, meaning the address of the computer center RZ that sends the notifications, in the reporting personnel area of subapplication ELEN.

The summary of the personnel areas/subareas may be as follows:
