Use
Use this Customizing activity to check whether the employee subarea grouping for the personnel calculation rule (payroll type) is set correctly for public sector employees.
Persons not liable to insurance contributions, such as public sector employees, judges, or soldiers also have to be reported in the ELENA procedure and indicated as not liable to insurance contributions in the notifications. For this purpose, the report reads the employee subarea grouping for the personnel calculation rule (payroll type).
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the employee subarea grouping for the personnel calculation rule (payroll type) for public sector employees, judges, or soldiers must have the value 4. If this is not the case, the employee is registered as a person liable to insurance contributions instead of as a public sector employee, judge, or soldier. You can use a Business Add-In (BAdI) in the BAdI: Determining Public Sector Employee Status Customizing activity to override this behavior.
Activities
Check your employee subgroups to see whether the employee subarea grouping for the personnel calculation rule (payroll type) of employee subgroups that contain public sector employees, judges, or soldiers has the value 4. The value 4 may not be used for employee subgroups containing employees liable to insurance contributions.
