Use
Use this Customizing activity to define a date type with date indicator 17.
For trainees, a Training (DBAS) data module must be reported every month in the ELENA procedure. This must include, among other things, the date on which the training will end according to the training contract. This information must also be entered for ELENA in the master data in infotype Date Specifications (IT0041). For this purpose, you have to define a date type with date indicator 17 in this Customizing activity.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system uses the Date Specifications (IT0041) infotype to determine the anticipated end of training. The date used has a date type assigned to the date indicator 17. In the standard system, this applies to date type 17 (end of training ELENA). The determination of the anticipated end of the training can be overruled using the BADI_HRPAYDE_EL_ASVOREND BAdI in the Customizing activity BAdI: Determining the Expected Education/Training End in ELENA Procedure.
Once training has been completed, the date in the Date Specifications (IT0041) infotype is no longer read. This means that it does not have to be deleted.
Activities
Maintain the date indicator 17 for the date type you wish to use to determine the anticipated end of training.
Example
You want to use the customer-defined date type EL. Assign it the date indicator 17 and maintain the anticipated end of training for your trainees in the Date Specifications (IT0041) infotype.
