Use
The outbound notifications for the request for notifications of preexisting conditions and for the various remuneration statements are created based on absences in the Absences infotype (2001).
In this Customizing activity, you assign the appropriate indicator to the absences relevant for this procedure. A differentiation is made here depending on the type (for example, sickness) and the carrier (for example, health insurance) of the compensation benefit:
- 01 HI Illness
- 02 HI Illness of Child
- 03 HI Maternity Protection
- 04 HI Pension Sick Pay
- 11 PI Spa After Illness
- 12 PI Rehabilitation Action
- 21 AI Work Accident
- 22 AI Spa After Work Accident
- 23 AI Accident of Child
- 31 BA Promotion Action
If a differentiation was not made between these various types for the absences up until now, then you create new absences. You can use the corresponding sample absences for this purpose.

For the absences that are not relevant for this procedure, you leave the assignment empty or you select the indicator relevant for the Statements (parental leave, military service).
Note:
To determine the absence indicator in the data module DBMU (field FEHLZEIT), the ELENA absence indicator is evaluated. You can check the assignment of this absence indicator using the Customizing activity Assign Absences to ELENA Indicator.
