The report 'Wage Statement for Workers' Compensation Association' evaluates the payroll results of the employees. The following data is determine:

  • Total gross amount
  • Remuneration liable to contributions
  • Hours worked
  • Working hours lost due to accidents at work or on the way to or from work

Each of these quantities is assigned to a cumulation wage type of subapplication BGNW. In this section you define the wage types that are assigned to these cumulation wage types.

GEBR Cumulation wage type for total gross amount

When determining the total gross amount with the standard setting, wage type /101 is evaluated. This wage type is not listed here, because it is stored in a system table.

Here, enter the wage type(s) with an amount (BETRG field) by which the standard wage type is increased or reduced.

BGBR Cumulation wage type for remuneration liable to contributions

When determining the remuneration amount that is liable to contributions with the standard setting, up to evaluation year 2008 wage type /160 is evaluated. As of evaluation year 2009, wage type /6U0 is used for this purpose. These wage types are not listed here either, because they are stored in a system table.

Here, enter the wage type(s) that the payroll does not cumulate in wage type /160, even though they comprise remuneration liable to contributions. Similarly, here you can enter wage types (with a minus sign) that the payroll does cumulate in wage type /160, even though they do not comprise remuneration liable to contributions.

To find out which of the wage types used in your company are liable to contributions, consult the workers# compensation association responsible for your company. You define your wage types as liable to contributions in the Customizing activity Define Trade Tax and Workers' Compensation Association Gross Amount.

In the payroll, the wage type used as of evaluation year 2009, /6U0, is derived from the remuneration liable to contributions in social insurance. In addition, this wage type includes the contribution-liable, tax-free Sunday, public holiday, and night work bonuses This means that, for evaluations as of 2009, no activities are necessary in this step for the formation of contribution-liable remuneration.

BSTD Cumulation wage type for paid working hours

You only enter wage types for this cumulation wage type if you do not want to use the standard determination for working hours.

If no wage types are specified for this cumulation wage type, the working hours are determined from the planned hours specified in the shift schedule, minus the unpaid absences. In the case of construction payroll, instead of this, the time statement of the construction pay component is used to determine working hours.

If entries exist for this cumulation wage type, only the specified wage types (specifically, the ANZHL field of each wage type) are used to determine working hours. The standard determination of working hours is no longer active.

If you only want to specify wage types that modify the standard determination, you must use cumulation wage type MSTD (see below) for this.

USTD Cumulation wage type for lost hours due to accident

You can use this cumulation wage type, similarly to the determination of working hours, to override the standard determination of lost working hours due to accidents at work or on the way to or from work.

To use the standard determination, do not enter any wage types here. Instead, define the absences you use as accidents at work or on the way to or from work. You can use the activity Flag Absences As Accident at Work or on Way to/from Work in Customizing to do this.

If you do not want to use the standard determination for lost hours, enter wage types here, whose ANZHL fields contain the lost hours due to accidents at work or on the way to or from work. Note that in this case no absences are evaluated, only the wage types you specified.

MSTD Modifiers for the determination of working hours

In this cumulation wage type, you can enter wage types whose ANZHL fields are to be added to or deducted from the working hours determined in the standard procedure.

Here, enter the wage types that are not entered in the standard shift schedule of the employees (and therefore are not included in the number of planned hours for the work center assignment. These are generally overtime hours.
