Use
You use this activity to set up a communication server.
Requirements
If you want to transfer ELENA notifications via HTTP(S) to the Zentrale Speicherstelle (ZSS) (German central storage location), you must fulfill the following prerequisites:
- Activate the data transfer to the communication server under the Customizing node "Enter Data on Reporting Personnel Area" for the subapplication ELEN.
- In transaction SM59, establish an HTTP(S) connection to the ZSS.
Standard settings
SAP Note 1408879 Elena: Establishing HTTP(S) connection to communication server describes the process of establishing an HTTP(S) connection.
Background: For test purposes, the HTTPS connection is established using a certificate provided by the HTTP server in the ZSS. When the procedure starts, this certificate will be replaced with client authentication. The certificate issued by ITSG to the employer will then be used. Detailed information about the setup was unavailable when this documentation was created. For the latest information, see SAP Note 1408879.
