Use
In this Customizing activity, you read the current municipality codes (BfS) for the municipalities. Once you have done so, the municipality codes are then available in the input help for the Municipality field in master data maintenance.
You can find the official list of municipality codes on the Internet pages of the Swiss Post Office at www.post.ch/match_zip . The report requires the PLZ community (BfS) format.
Requirements
You have downloaded a file in the PLZ community (BfS) format.
Standard settings
Activities
Run the report.
If you need municipality codes in addition to those provided in the official list from the Swiss Post Office, choose the following in Customizing Payroll: Switzerland -> Tax -> Withholding Tax -> Annujal Adjustments -> Maintain Cantons/Municipalities.
