In this IMG activity you assign a general valuation class for selected loans.
You can choose to use your own Customizing settings (see company-code dependant product type parameters), or enter the general valuation class when you call up the function.
Using the parameters you can also control:
- whether or not an existing assignment is to be overwritten
- whether the system only logs errors or every changed loan
The system first checks that the company codes you have selected have not already been initialized for parallel position management. The general valuation class of a loan can only be changed if the relevant company code is not yet linked to parallel position management.
