Use
In this IMG (Implementation Guide) activity you specify attributes for the additional data collection methods and parameters you require.
For the data collection methods you can set the Log indicator. If the SAP system finds no data records for a cost object during data collection, it outputs appropriate error messages.
In addition you can set the Hide indicator for the data collection methods. Hiding the methods means that the SAP system no longer shows them to the user for selection. In other words you can use this indicator to specify the methods that a user can use when performing data collection runs. The indicator is client-dependent, which means that you have to make the settings in each client.
You can set the indicators in the following cases:
- You have created a copy of an SAP data collection method and want users to only be able to use the customer-specific method. You therefore hide the SAP data collection method.
- Your enterprise is an outsourcing enterprise that performs personnel cost planning and simulation tasks for multiple customers and in different clients. You can control which data collection methods are available in each client.
You specify most of the parameters as default values. What is more, you can use the Hide indicator. Set the indicator if users are not allowed to overwrite the parameter value when performing cost planning runs.
