Use
In this IMG (Implementation Guide) activity you create customer-specific data collection methods and assign parameters to the methods.
You must perform this IMG activity if you want to design the data collection customer-specifically using the Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) Data Collection: Employee Data (HRHCP00_DC_EMPLOYEE) and Data Collection: Organizational Objects (HRHCP00_DC_ORGOBJECT).

Requirements
If you need additional parameters for your methods, you must first perform the IMG activity Create Additional Data Collection Parameters.
Standard settings
The standard system already includes data collection methods for the following method groups:
- Data Collection Employee Data
- Data Collection Organizational Objects
- Manual Change and Derivation
Note that the view is a cross-client one and contains a customer namespace. Customer-specific entries must start with Y or Z and are only possible for the method groups Data Collection Employee Data and Data Collection Organizational Objects.
Activities
- Create any extra data collection methods you require.
If, for example, you create a data collection method for the BAdI Data Collection: Employee Data (HRHCP00_DC_EMPLOYEE), the method corresponds to the filter value for the BAdI implementation. The allocated method group (in this example Data Collection: Employee Data) specifies that you can implement the BAdI.
- Assign appropriate parameters to the data collection methods.
