Use
In this IMG activity you make settings that are necessary for integration between the HR and SEM systems in a split system landscape.

Standard settings
Activities
You set up integration using Application Link Enabling (ALE). For general notes on setting up ALE scenarios, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the SAP Web Application Server under Application Link Enabling.
The integration enables you to distribute the organizational structure, including organizational units, positions, and jobs, from your HR system to your SEM system. In addition, in the SEM system a central SAP business partner is created in the Employee role, in which an employee's personal data, for example enterprise address or personnel number, is managed.
Through integration, the SEM system can, for example, transfer the sum of the weighted scores from the personal score to the HR system as the result of an appraisal.
