Use

In this IMG activity, you map a knowledge base, which you have created with the Business Add-In BAdI: Knowledge Bases, to the Business Object Repository (BOR). This enables the knowledge search in the interaction center to retrieve any files from the content server that are linked to the SAP business object represented by this BAdI. As a result, when an agent uses the knowledge search to search the knowledge base, and adds a document from the knowledge base to the cart in order to e-mail the document to the customer, any files attached to the document are also e-mailed to the customer.

If you have not created a new knowledge base with this BAdI, you do not need to carry out this IMG activity.

If the knowledge base ID can be mapped directly to the business object ID (that is, the knowledge base ID can be used as the business object ID), make entries only in the following fields:

• Knowledge Base Name
• Business Object Type

If the knowledge base ID cannot be mapped directly to the business object ID, create a database table to map the knowledge base ID to the business object ID, and specify this table in your Add-In implementation. Make entries in the above fields and in the following fields:

• Table Name
• Field Name
• Field Name
• Field Name
• Business Object Name
