Use

In this IMG activity, you define which systems and clients are to be used for the transaction launcher.

Perform this IMG activity for all systems (development system, test system, productive system).

Requirements

  • A customer-specific logical system has been defined (transaction BD54).
  • An RFC connection has been defined (transaction SM59).
  • An RFC connection has been assigned to the logical system (transaction BD97).
  • The service for starting ITS transactions is activated. (Transaction SICF: sap->bc->gui->sap-its->ccmp_rabox).
  • The ITS URL has been noted.

Standard settings

Activities

Make the following entries in this activity:

  • Assigned logical system (Mapped LogSys): Variables from the view of the transaction launcher describe the current logical system.

    Enter the variables you want to use to call transactions using the transaction launcher. Since this variable is also used in the generated source code of the transaction launcher, you must also make any changes here.

    In the standard SAP system, the entry OWNLOGSYS is used as an example for this variable for the integration of HR master data maintenance.

  • Logical system: Logical system according to transaction SM59.
  • ITS client
  • ITS URL

    Example: http://<server name and full domain>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/ccmp_rabox
