Use
In this IMG activity, you define the query to be used to find the information required to authenticate employees.
The query EIC_EMP_AUTH has been predefined in the standard system. This query uses information in the EIC Authentication infotype (0816) to authenticate employees.
You can define customer-specific queries. If you want to do this, use the InfoSet /SAPQUERY/HR_EIC_AUTHENT. You must enter the user groups and the name of the query in the authentication profile. You make these settings in the Define Authentication Profile and Assign Grouping activity.

Include the personnel number (PERNR field in the Actions infotype (0000) as a mandatory selection and output field in the query.
You are also recommended to include the Authentication infotype (0816) in the query. However, unlike the personnel number, this is not mandatory.
The number of questions from infotype 0816 selected in the query must be greater or equal to the number of questions defined for the authentication profile. Therefore, you should ensure that the number of questions in the profile and query is identical.
