Use

In this IMG activity, you define the inbound distribution of incoming documents. You can use various criteria in transaction SO28 to define the rules for inbound distribution.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

You relate the e-mail addresses of agents in the Employee Interaction Center (EIC) with the recipient addresses that arrive in the system as an interface using SAPconnect. The following entries are possible:

  • In the Recipient column, you enter the address to which documents are to be sent from an external source. SAPconnect allocates the domain for this address.

If you enter an asterisk (*) in this column, there is no restriction regarding the recipient address. You define that all incoming documents of a certain type are forwarded to a particular new recipient in the SAP system.

  • In the New Recipient column, you define the recipient in the SAP system to whom the incoming document is to be forwarded. You define the e-mail address assigned to the EIC agent.

A generic entry is not possible. The address you specify must be object type EIC Inbox. Use input help to select SAP Object Instance and choose Detailed Search. In the Choose Object Type dialog box, select EIC Inbox: SAPconnect Entry.

  • In the Address Type columns, the appropriate address type is displayed. In EIC, the only relevant address type for the recipient address is Internet Address.

The remaining fields in this view are not relevant in this context and you do not need to make any entries for them.
