The SAP system creates a numbered document (line items) for each posting in Controlling. Changes to planned values are documented and can thereby be uniquely identified.
In this step, you can change (reset) the number range intervals for the assignment of line items within the framework of planning capital investment programs. The system uses the number range 11 for planning capital investment programs.
Standard settings
SAP delivers intervals for number range 11. You can use these intervals without making any changes.
Activity
If necessary, change the intervals provided by SAP for number range 11.
For example, you can reset the status of the numbers in these intervals after the creation of test data.
Activities
After resetting test data, set the number range interval (01) back to 0.
Further notes (Transport)
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
