In this step, you define your own assignments of actual values posted on investment measures to budget categories. You make these definitions with the help of a customer enhancement project.
Note
Enhancement projects function on the basis of certain positions in standard SAP programming code that have been prepared by SAP to allow the call of function modules programmed by the user to meet his/her specific requirements. Therefore, it is possible to implement enhancement projects only if you have knowledge of the ABAP/4 programming language.
Example
For example, you can use this method in order to have assignment according to cost elements.
Standard settings
The standard setting is for the system to separate expense that can be capitalized (that is settled to assets) and expense that cannot be capitalized (that is settled to CO receivers).
Recommendation
Generally, this standard splitting of actual values is sufficient.
Activities
- Modify function module EXIT_SAPDBIMA_001 and the included program it contains to meet your requirements.
- Activate a customer enhancement project (with any key) using the SAP enhancement AAIP0001.
