In this section you make the system settings for file processing transactions. You assign the transactions to an activity type and to a function, and define the following:

  • The function call
  • The initialization routine for the transaction call
  • The program for the initialization routine

Example

For the activity 'new contract', the function Display contract can be useful. You can copy this function from the rollover activity.

Note:
You need to enter the relevant transaction. If you do not do this, the system does not return to the correct transaction after triggering the transaction change. Example: If you want to process loans with the product category "policy loans" in the status "contract offer", you need to enter the transaction FNA8 "Display Contract Offer for Policy Loan"

Activities

  1. Select an activity type.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter a function code.
  4. Enter a short name and a long name for the transaction.
  5. Set up the function call by entering the following:
    • The transaction to be called up
    • The target register the loan should be put into after the transaction
    • The target register category
    • The mode type, which determines whether the function can only be called up in change mode (=X), or also in display mode (space).
  6. Enter the name for the initialization form routine for the transaction call.
  7. Enter the name of the program for calling up the initialization form routine.
  8. Save your entries.
