Use

You use this IMG activity to set the configuration for the context menu in the map.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

You must do the following:

To configure context menu -

  • Choose New Entries.
  • Choose the Selection Type from the drop down list for example, Single Object. The dropdown list has four options:
    • Single Object
    • Multiple Objects of Same Type
    • Multiple Objects of Different Type
    • No Objects
  • Enter the Configuration ID.
  • Choose the launchpad Role and Instance

    Note that you must have maintained the launchpad role and instance in transaction LPD_CUST before entering the launchpad Role and Instance. To maintain the launchpad:

    • On the SAP Easy Access screen, enter /nlpd_cust in the command field.
    • Choose Continue.
    • The system calls up the start screen for launchpad Customizing.
  • Enter the PFCG (authorization) Role.

    This is optional. You must maintain it only if you want to restrict the context menu to a particular authorization role.

To maintain the object types -

  • Select the new configuration entry and choose Object Types for Configuration.
  • Choose New Entries.
  • Select the Object Type from the dropdown list.
  • Save the results.

    Note that:

    • No object types should be maintained for a configuration of type No Objects.
    • Only one object type must be maintained for a configuration of type Single Object or Multiple Objects of Same Type.
    • At least two object types must be maintained for a configuration of type Multiple Objects of Different Types.
    • Only one configuration of type must be maintained per combination of object types.
