Use

You can use this Business Add-In to make your own check of the chosen inspection type in the schedule.

The schedule for the stability study defines for every storage condition (reference object "physical sample") with which inspection type the inspection lots should be generated, that emerge as maintenance call objects using the maintenance plan scheduling.

The inspection type must be maintained in Customizing of Quality Management for Origin 16 (inspection lot for stability study).

Ensure that you assign an inspection lot for which the default values are maintained in Customizing in Quality Management. These are read as the current settings for inspection generation. This means that the system does NOT read the active inspection type in the inspection settings of the material master.

SAP delivers an active implementation in a PLM Add-On. This checks whether

  • The inspection type for origin 16 is maintained
  • The default values for the inspection type are maintained

Use this active implementation as a template for your internal implementation

Requirements

For your active customer implementation to run through, you must set the switch for selecting the BAdI implementation under Business Add-Ins to Customer Implementation for the BAdI in Customizing for Quality Management.

The BAdI interface gives you the inspection lot origin and the selected inspection type.
