Use
You can use this BAdI in a stability study to prepopulate fields on the follow-up function screen when creating an inspection lot for an initial test, or when manually creating an inspection lot for a storage condition.
To do this, you must create a customer-specific implementation for this BAdI.
You can use this customer-specific implementation to prepopulate the following fields according to your requirements:
- Inspection Lot Short Text (E_KTEXTLOS)
- Inspection Type (E_ART) => Change of default
- Inspection Plan Number (E_PLNNR)
- Group Counter (E_PLNAL)
This BAdI also recognises work areas of the physical-sample drawing (I_QPRN) and the sample (I_QPRN), as well as a field that tells you about the inspection lot type (I_QSTABI).
The parameter I_QSTABI can have the following values in the context of stability studies:
1 = Inspection Lot for Initial Test
3 = Inspection Lot for Storage Condition (Manually Created)

This BAdI is used on screen 1000 of the function group QST02 for the creation of an inspection lot for the initial test, or the creation of a manual inspection lot for a storage condition.
If you implement this BAdI accordingly, you can, for example, prepopulate the inspection lot short text when creating an inspection lot for an initial test, according to your requirements.
Other fields on the screen, apart from the ones named above, cannot be changed using a BAdI implementation.
