In this step, you can define selection profiles for notifications. You can use these selection profiles to find the notifications on the basis of their statuses.

Refer to the chapter Environment, Central Functions, Status Management, Selection Profile for detailed information about selection profiles.

Activities

  1. Determine which system statuses (and user statuses, if necessary) the notifications will have. Make sure the status profiles for user statuses are different from one notification type to another.
  2. Determine how these statuses can be linked in a logical fashion, to produce useful selection profiles; then define the selection profiles.
