In this step, you can have the units of your self-defined key figures automatically maintained in the necessary control tables.
Requirements
In the logistics information system it is possible for you to define your own key figures and to update these in information structures. This is done either via an enhancement of an communication structure or reference structure using an append structure.
New key figures often have new units that must also be included in the communication structure. When information structures and update programs with these new key figures and units are generated, errors often occur. The entries missing from the tables TMC6 and TMC24 are listed in the log.
Activities
There are two programs that maintain control tables.
RMCSUNIT creates the control table entries, and RMCSUDEL deletes them again for a unit.
- If you wish to maintain the units of the new key figures, proceed as follows:
- Choose the action Create.
The dialog field "hit list" appears.
The user-defined key figures and their units that have not yet been maintained in the control table are listed. - Select the unit you wish to maintain, and copy it.
- If you wish to delete the new units in the control table, proceed as follows:
- Choose the action Delete.
The dialog field "hit list" appears. - Select the entry to be deleted and copy your selection.
Further notes
Do not include new units in reference structures (such as MCFKENNZ).They should always be included in communication structures to avoid complications.
