Currently, the following reports can be used for creating master data texts (texts on characteristics) from R/2:
- RMLIST01
transfers the company code and is relevant for all applications
- RMLIST02
transfers the business area and is relevant for Inventory Controlling
- RMLIST03
transfers the value and is relevant for Inventory Controlling as well as for production
- RMLIST04
transfers the material number and is relevant for all applications
- RMLIST05
transfers the vendor number and is relevant for purchasing
- RMLIST06
transfers the material group and is relevant for inventory management
- RMLIST07
transfers the material category and is relevant for inventory management
- RMLIST08
transfers the division and is relevant for inventory management
The master data texts are transferred from R/2 and stored in R/3 in the table TMCTX.
Activities
- In the field Sender program, specify the name of the respective data collection report.
- In the field Transfer path specify CPIC or FILE depending upon the data collection report.
- Check the box R/2 - R/3 Communication, to activate the connection between the R/2 and R/3 system.
- In the field Variant sender program, specify a selection variant for the respective data collection report.
This entry is only necessary if a data collection report is to run as a background job.
- If you have scheduled a data collection report to run in the background you must set the indicator in field Batch start.
- Execute the start program for the data collection report.
