If you want to use ALE for logistics information systems, you need to define the following ALE-specific Customizing settings:

  • maintain logical systems and assign a logical system name to every participating system (client).

  • enter the message flow (message type LIPxxx) in the distribution customer model.

  • define the communication parameters.
