Use
In this IMG activity, you can link absence types with workflow templates for the Leave Request Web application. You can use either standard workflow templates or your own customized templates. The workflow template enables you to specify, for example, whether a request for a particular type of leave is subject to an approval step.
You can delimit the validity period of the entries in the V_T554S_WEB2 view and make different settings for individual personnel subarea groupings. You can also use the WEBMO feature to control the entries in the view according to your employees organizational attributes. The WEBMO feature returns the value for the Rule Group field.
Note
The Web Group and Number fields are not evaluated by the Leave Request Web application. Always enter the following values:
Web Group: 01
Number: 001
Requirements
- You must have made the required settings in Customizing for Employee Self-Service:
- Each employee who is permitted to submit leave requests must have a user in the SAP system.
- A system user name must be entered in the Communication infotype (0105), subtype 0001 (System User Name for SAP Systems).

Activities
In the V_T554S_WEB2 view, enter all absence types that your employees
are to be permitted to enter in the Web application. If you do not enter an absence type in the view, your employees will be able to enter it in the backend system only.
