In this IMG activity, you specify the number ranges for the number range object service number.

You have two options here:

  • If the number ranges should not start at the beginning again each year, create a number range with the year 9999 (default).
  • If the number ranges should start at the beginning each year, create a number range for each year.

The service numbers are assigned when you create a medical service in schedule planning.

Standard settings

In the SAP standard system, the number range A1 is preset for the number range object. The number range number A1 must not be changed.

The year is set by default to 9999.

Recommendation

SAP recommends that you work with the default number range. In this case no further activities are required.

When using external data, a change to the number range interval and the number status may be necessary.

Editing number range intervals

  1. Choose Change intervals.
  2. Edit the existing number range interval.
  3. Enter other years with number range intervals if necessary.
  4. Save your entries.

Editing number statuses

  1. Choose Change status.
  2. Edit the number status.
  3. Save your entries.
