In this step, you define the value types available for a PC schedule and the value type attributes of the value types in a PC schedule.

The following attributes define how a value type is used in a PC schedule:

  • The value type is global and is not triggered for all employees.
  • The employee grouping for method determination is determined by a feature. If this is not the case, the employee grouping is set up as a default.
  • The value type is used in a PC calculation for PC online evaluations. Example

    If, for example, a posting is created with a value type 'prepayment' the maximum prepayment is of particular interest. Hence, the online evaluation in the standard system is started with the 'maximim value' PC-calculation.

Activities

To assign a PC schedule to a value type, you:

  1. In the field Navigation, choose Schedule value types.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter the value type.
  4. Define whether the value type is to be implemented globally.
  5. Specify whether the employee grouping for method determination is defined using a feature or a default setting:
    • To use a feature, you flag the field EEGrpFeat, and enter the name of the feature.
    • To preset the employee grouping, you enter the key for the employee grouping in the field EEGrp.
  6. If necessary, enter the PC calculation you want to use with the value type.
  7. Choose Save.

To define the value type attributes of a value type, you:

  1. Flag the relevant value type, and in the field Navigation, choose Attributes.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Choose the appropriate value type attributes.
  4. Choose Save.
