In this step, you define your value type attributes. Value type attributes describe a value type and determine how the value type is processed, so that, for example, the system only processes value types with a particular value type attribute.
Note
The assignment of value type attributes to individual value types depends on the relevant PC schedule. This enables you to use value types for different purposes in diverse PC schedules. To assign value type attributes to individual value types, go to the step Define schedule value type attributes.
Standard settings
The R/3 System contains sample value type attributes for most processing functions within a pension fund.
Activities
To create value type attributes, you:
- Choose New entries.
- Enter a key and a description for the value type attribute.
- Choose Save.
