In this step, you create new value types.

Value types contain values that are processed for a pension fund. The values that can be assigned to a value type are determined by their data type and assignment to a value set.

Requirements

You must first set up your PC value sets.

Standard settings

The R/3 System contains value types for most processing functions within a pension fund.

Activities

Check the sample SAP value types. To create your own value types, you:

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter the value type key.
  3. Select a data type.
  4. Enter a short and a long text for the value type.
  5. Select a PC value set.
  6. Choose Save.
