In this step, you define the system's behaviour when certain employee attribute combinations arise. This allows you to perform a compatibility check for EE attributes in the infotype 0278.
To set up system behaviour in the event of certain combinations, you define whether the system issues an error (entry rejected) or a warning (entry must be confirmed), and specify the message you want the system to display.
Example
You have defined attribute classes for pension plans with the attributes 'minimal' 'standard' and 'delux' and for supplementary services with the attributes 'all' 'some' and 'none'.
You can now specify that not all supplementary services may be made available for a minimal plan.
In this case, enter both attributes with the relevant attribute class and specify message type E for this combination. If the combination of minimal plan and full supplementary services is permissible in some exceptional circumstances, choose message type W for this combination.
Standard settings
If you leave the message number field empty, a standard message will be issued - message 555 or 556 in message class 5C for non-compatible attributes, or attributes which are only compatible in certain circumstances.
Activities
- Choose New entries.
- Define the combinations for which you want the system to issue a message by entering the attribute class and the respective attribute in pairs.
- Define the system message type ('E' or 'W').
- Define the message by entering the work area and the message number.
If you do not enter anything here, the standard messages 555 and 556 in
message class 5C are used.
The message used has the following parameters:
- - 3=Text for attribute class 1/2
- - 4=Text for attribute 1/2
- Choose Save.
