In this activity you can check and, if required, maintain the statutory pension age. The statutory pension age is gender-specific and determines the month in which the employee reaches the withdrawal age, and thus is processed as a pensioner. You can define a pension fund rule that differs from the statutory age stipulated. However, for evaluations and projections, the SAP standard system uses the statutory pension age as specified in the model schedules. A statutory pension age is defined in the Pension Age view. It is valid for all men and women with a birth date within the interval as defined by the Earliest birth date and Latest birth date.
In the processing schedule, you can determine the statutory pension age for the insured person using the operation BA.The withdrawal date (implicitly determined by the statutory pension age) is determined by the operation B7. You find examples of these operations in the model schedules S0 and S3.
