In this step you determine:
- Which value types belong to an account view.
- How the balance is calculated in the overview (Navigator).
- Which additional results should be shown in the overview.
The settings are dependent upon the processing schedule.
When you enter a PC action in an account view, it is carried out at the start, while changing the reference date, and while creating or cancelling postings. These results can be displayed in the navigation window by defining value types for the balance or other values.
You can enter value types for each account view. These are used for the selection of postings in the work environment of the posting maintenance transaction. For each value type you must determine whether it should be sorted according to the posting date or the value date.
Note that the choice of value types for the posting list must correspond to the meaning of the account view. Thus, all postings for the savings credit are displayed in the account view Savings Credit.

Due to performance, it is advisable to use the same PC action for all account views. Thus, all values are calculated. The calculation is only carried out once.

Note that in the PC action for authorization only the infotypes 0001, 0002, 0008, 0278, and 0279 are available.
To ensure that an account view is used, you must assign it a position in the step Define Positions of Account Views.
