This step enables you to define the structure of batch input sessions created by a BI output list. All calculated values whose value types are assigned to input fields of infotype 0279 Individual Values Pension Fund are always included. This step also enables you to determine the end date of a new record of this infotype. You can define additional infotype records to be entered in the BI session. When the session runs, they are then created for the appropriate infotypes. However, you should note the fact that value types only create infotype records if a valid value has been assigned to them. This ensures consistency.
Example
An employee who belongs to a benefit-based fund receives a salary increase. In this case, infotype 0279 Individual Values Pension Fund must be recalculated because contribution amounts change. If an extraordinary contribution also exists, an arrears payment may be necessary. You enter it in infotype 0014 Recurring Payments/Deductions. You then enter the appropriate amount in the BI session.
Activities
To create additional infotype records in the BI sessions of an output list, proceed as follows:
Select the required PC schema.
In the Navigation group box, choose Infotypes for Batch Input.
Choose New Entries.
Specify the fund for which the infotype record in question must be created.
Specify the required infotype.
Enter the infotype's module pool and screen number. To determine an infotype's module pool and screen number, call HR master data maintenance, select a record of the infotype concerned, and choose System -> Status. You can also specify a subtype and function code for infotype processing. If you do not specify a function code, =COP is used. This function code copies an infotype record or creates a new record if a record does not exist already. If function code =LIS9 is used, the interpreter must calculate delimitation date RP50M-ABGRD.
Define values for the relevant infotype fields:
Select the infotype and choose Field Values for Batch Input in the Navigation group box.
Choose New Entries.
Enter the field name.
Specify the value type that belongs to the field in question.
Specify the value to be entered for the value type.
Save your entries.
Further notes
If you use batch input to create records for infotype 0279 Individual Values Pension Fund, the end date is always displayed as December 31, 9999. However, you can change this date by entering a record with record number 1 of IT 0279 and filling the P0279-ENDDA field. Specify the date directly or enter a value type from which the date can be derived. Unlike other infotypes, you are not required to enter further data such as Module Pool.
