In this step, you set up output sequences for your SAPscript universal evaluations.

Output sequences are used to print out data that has been calculated during a SAPscript evaluation where several PC forms are processed consecutively. This allows you to print documents with related contents in one printing session (for example, insurance statements and accompanying letters). This is controlled through output steps that contain the form to be printed out and the group formation type assigned to the form.

To control value help and consistency checks on the selection screen of an evaluation, you define the output sequence according to evaluation types and PC schemas.

Activities

To create an output sequence, you

  1. Choose Output sequences in the Navigation group box.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter a key and a description for the output sequence.
  4. Choose Save.

To define permissible evaluation types for an output sequence, you:

  1. Flag the relevant output sequence.
  2. Choose PC output sequences for a PC evaluation in the Navigation group box.
  3. Choose New entries.
  4. Choose the output types for which the output sequence can be used.
  5. Choose Save.

To define permissible PC schemas for an output sequence, you:

  1. Flag the relevant output sequence.
  2. Choose Compatibility of PC schemas and output sequences in the Navigation group box.
  3. Choose New entries.
  4. Choose the PC schemas for which the output sequence can be used.
  5. Choose Save.

To define the output steps of an output sequence, you:

  1. Flag the relevant output sequence.
  2. Choose Steps in an output sequence in the Navigation group box.
  3. Choose New entries.
  4. Enter a numerical key for the respective output step.
  5. Specify the form and the group formation type. If you do not specify a group formation type, the system uses the sorting of logical database PNP. Subtotals are not calculated.
  6. If you want to archive the SAPscript form, specify an archiving object and infotype in which the form must be accessible in master data maintenance. Optical archiving must be set up in your system.

    To establish a link between the document type and object type for master data, you must access the IMG for the SAP Web Application Server and choose Basis Services -> ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing -> Edit Links to assign the HROPFUND document type to the PREL object type.

    To create your own document types in the IMG, choose ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing -> Edit Document Types. You must establish the link with the archive by choosing Basic Customizing -> Edit Links. In the standard system, document type HROPFUND is used for all PF evaluations. You are advised to use this customizing setting.
  7. Save your entries.
