In this step, you define the output assignment types for your evaluations. To do this, you assign a value type to a field in the internal output table PR_TAB. This enables the output routine to read and display the results.

The fields to which the value type is assigned are determined by the evaluation type used. The R/3 System thereby implements the diverse functions and technical requirements of the basic function.

Activities

To create an output assignment type, you:

  1. In the field Navigation, choose Output assignment types.
  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Enter a key and a description for the output assignment type.
  4. Choose Save.

To enter the field assignment for an output assignment type, you:

  1. Flag the relevant output assignment type.
  2. In the field Navigation, choose Value types field assignment.
  3. Choose New entries.
  4. Enter the evaluation type.
  5. Enter the relevant field in output table PR_TAB.
  6. Enter the value type you want to assign to the field.
  7. Choose Save.
