In this step, you set up the control of event linkage for workflows in infotype 0008.

There are cases where you should avoid starting a workflow for changes to basic pay data (for example, the adjustment of salary data for all employees at the start of the year). In such cases, you should deactivate event linkage until all the changes have been made. To do this, you should delimit the validity period of the event linkage for the relevant funds.

You can also determine which workflow task you want to use for the changes to the basic pay infotype.
