In this step, you create your own PF wage types by copying and renaming the the sample SAP wage types.

You can use the copy wage types for further processing as well as modify them to meet your requirements. In this step, you will only be able to copy wage types that can be used as PF wage types.

Note

  • For details on copying wage type prototypes and sample SAP wage type catalogs to create customer wage types, refer to the steps "Create wage types using wage type catalogs" and "Create wage types using prototypes".

  • Note that the copy wage types, that is, the customer wage types, have the same attributes as the sample SAP wage types when it comes to online processes and payroll accounting. In the subsequent steps, you can check and modify the attributes of your wage types to meet your requirements.

Caution

Only copy the sample SAP wage types to the designated area for customer wage types (all wage types must start with a number). Never copy the wage types to the sample SAP wage types area (all wage types start with a letter or special character).
